I have been showing and racing whippets since 2006 when I decided to look for a whippet to add to our family as a pet. Epiphany whippets show, lure course, race and are active in therapy work.
We feel strongly responsible for each puppy carrying the Meisterhaus kennel name. Every puppy born at Meisterhaus along with his/her new family members is considered part of our “Meisterhaus family.” We make breeding considerations with the objective to produce top show dogs, performance dogs and the very best companions possible for our “Meisterhaus family!”
Of utmost importance to my breeding program is temperament as the majority of my pups go to pet homes. I do not “special” champions on a regular basis. My goal is to have a nice line of beautiful, healthy and happy dogs that I can have fun showing and finishing and that grace my home as well as the homes of other Whippet lovers.
Our goal at CARA is to produce dogs that are physically sound, fully tested against genetic disease and loving companion dogs. If we are able to produce a high quality show dog from a litter, it is a bonus! We do not breed often and only when we intend to keep a dog from the litter to show. All dogs kept by CARA remain here for their lifetime.
We are a family hobby “kennel” with homes in Virginia and South Carolina…a kennel in name only, as our whippets are all house pets. We raise our puppies in our home along with our adult whippets, and all of our dogs are happy, healthy pets first and foremost. We keep the number of dogs at home limited, so every one can have as much attention as he or she needs. We focus first on temperament and health, in the belief that to be a happy dog, a whippet must be a good pet.
Our whippets are first and foremost wonderful pets, which enjoy their time in the show ring and on the lure coursing field. I am currently a member of Greeley Kennel Club, Rocky Mountain Hound Association of Colorado, Colorado Lure Coursing Association, American Whippet Club, and various professional organizations.
Welcome to Cove Creek Whippets, home of Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show and Best in Field whippets. Cove Creek Whippets is located at the base of the Sierra in Carson City, Nevada, USA. We do not have a kennel, all of our whippets are treasured family members. We enjoy competing in the venues of conformation, lure coursing, and obedience. We love whippets for their grace, beauty, speed, versatility, and affectionate personalities.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting us today. We are Melody and Guy Joyce, of southwest Michigan. In 2002, an awesome young male Whippet came to live with us and be Mel’s first show dog, and we have enjoyed this breed’s unique athletic beauty and endearing nature ever since.
We have been fortunate through the years that our efforts have been consistently rewarded. We are not a large “operation”. We feel comfortable breeding one litter a year, if that. Since 1985 we have bred or co-bred over 125 champions. We were the top breeder of champions for 1992, 1999 and 2000.
My family and our dogs live in the Southern California town of Fallbrook, located about 100 miles south of Los Angeles. We do not have a whippet kennel, our puppies are born in our home and are raised with the adults and other puppies.Since 1989, we have been active in both showing and lure coursing whippets. We have had multiple Top Twenty, Best in Show and Specialty Best in Show winners. We were the American Whippet Club top whippet breeder from 2004 through 2007.

We are a small kennel located in Southern California that breeds performance Whippets. Our Whippets are bred for temperament plus performance ability, coursing, racing, and companionship.
We are a small home/kennel with a very selective breeding program. We have been successful in producing whippets that excel in the show ring, coursing field and, most importantly, as loving companions.
We are located at the foot of Horsetooth Mountain in Colorful Colorado. Our whippets get to enjoy the Colorado sunshine and fresh mountain breezes in the summer and a cozy couch at the fireside in winter. What a perfect whippet life! We are active in showing, obedience, lure coursing, and racing. Puppies occasionally available.
Our whippet-breeding program is known worldwide. Starline Whippets has bred over 100 AKC Champions. We are known for producing a “classic” whippet that is curvy, smooth and with correct sound movement. We strive to produce whippets that can be shown successfully anywhere in the world. Our focus is on health, longevity and dispositions that are a delight to live with.
Rusalka has shown and/or bred numerous AKC champions and American Whippet Club and Borzoi Club of America winners, from Best In Specialty Show, AOM, Sweepstakes, and Specialty point winners, nationally and regionally. Several of our dogs have completed their ASFA Field Championships, one is an AKC Field Champion, and we’ve trained a few dogs in obedience.
Our puppies are very carefully placed in homes where they will blossom. We breed just one or two litters per year, and enjoy the friendships that we make through our puppy families.
I joined the American Whippet Club in 2000. I bred my first whippet litter in 2007 and my second in 2013. All the pups are doing fine and I keep in touch with the owners to see how things are going. We breed for temperament, versatility and conformation.
Greetings from Ruth and Doug Broadfoot and welcome to our website. We are located near Lynchburg, Virginia and have owned and bred whippets for more than 40 years. We mostly enjoy showing our whippets in conformation and we participate occasionally in racing and lure coursing. We have had significant success with our breeding program over the years. We continue to breed on a limited basis and sometimes have puppies and young adults available to qualified homes.

Surrey Hill Whippets has returned to Florida! My life has changed, but the Whippets are still my joy and passion. We offer home visits and breeder referral as well as breed information for those who interested in the breed.
