Family of Whippets |

IMa Whippets came into being in 2002 when
my foundation bitch, Diva, whelped her first litter. Since that time,
22 IMa Whippets have entered the world and most of these have made homes at
a distance from their first "nest." Some members of our pack live in
California, Montana and Georgia, but the majority still reside in Texas in
cities such as Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, Arlington, Fort Worth and
Dripping Springs.
This image, by the way, is not a Photoshop fake. In 2002, Greyhound bus launched a new print-advertising campaign that featured five IMa puppies: Phisher, Nikki, Phoebe, Emma and Caliban. This is one of about six poster-ads that accompanied ticket jackets, banners, Christmas cards, notepads and more. See the links to the right-hand side of this page for individual IMa Whippets living with our "extended whippet family." We are a special group of people brought together by a very special group of dogs.
