DIVA

Diva came to me in 1999 as a very special birthday gift. Bred by Carolynn Bates of Cajen Whippets, Diva finished swiftly in the show ring, earning three majors and placing us in the Hound group ring more than a few times as a class dog. She went on to win an AKC lure coursing Best in Field in 2001 and has 10 points and one major ttoward her AKC Field Championship. In ASFA, Diva has earned all her placements and over half the required points for the Field Champion title. At nine years old in 2008, however, these titles may remain incomplete, not for lack of ability on her part, but distraction on mine.

Diva has whelped two litters for IMA, the first in 2002; the second in 2006. Both are by MBIF AmDC Allerei's Roo's Adair Castle, DC, MC, FCh, CRX, CGC, AOV. In 2009, Diva's daughter Souris completed her AKC Field Championship and with this, her mother's AWC Register of Merit title. We could not be more proud of our foundation bitch nor more grateful for Carolynn's trust and counsel.

2009 Diva earns her UKC Championship title
2008 Wins UKC Best of Breed and Sighthound Group I in Denton, Texas. This was her first UKC show
2007 Whippet National Triathlon 10th placement, three and a half months after her second litter and at seven years old
2006 Whelped a litter of ten healthy puppies which have to date earned one bench title, one Hound Group I placement, one AKC lure coursing major, two Junior Courser titles and 10 ASFA FCh points
2006-2007 Earned two legs of her AKC CD title with one more needed to complete the AWC Versatility title
Whelped a litter of ten healthy puppies which have earned two bench titles, four ASFA LCM titles, one ASFA Field Championship, and one oval racing OTR title
2001 Completed her bench title with three majors
2001 Earned an AKC lure coursing Best in Field
